Compaq Presario 061
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I need to know whether I can upgrade my Compaq presario 061 Processor which is Intel Atom CPU D410 @1.66 GZH 1 core to the Intel E7300 Core 2 Duo Processor? I have found this processor online but it says to make sure it will work with my current motherboard! Also says: (Intel EM64T requires a computer system with a processor, chipset, BIOS, operating system, device drivers and applications enabled for Intel EM64T. Processor will not operate (including 32-bit operation) without an Intel EM64T-enabled BIOS. And: Execute Disable Bit (Enabling Execute Disable Bit functionality requires a PC with a processor with Execute Disable Bit capability.

My BIOS is American Megatrends Inc 5.03. BIOS mode is Legacy. Baseboard manufacturer is Foxconn.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

I think it will do as it is Intel aswell but want to make sure before I buy it.

Thanks!

It's a PC not a Notebook, that's why I posted the question in this forum.
