OMEN 25L Desktop GT11-1000a (ID 1Z1B6AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I'm looking to fix a broken CPU in my 'OMEN 25L Desktop GT11-1000a (ID 1Z1B6AV)'.

I'm unsure if I need a new CPU or not, and if i do, which one to get. I know there are a lot of specifications including the type of plug used.

It currently has a 'AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics' but it is very laggy, running at 97-99% capacity. There's no background processes and I've tried a system clean-up and defragging. Temperature is also all good.

For reference, browser Google Earth freezes the screen, running at 97% CPU capacity.

I'm hoping someone can help me fix it or know which new CPU is compatible with my motherboard.

Windows update does a good job at maintaining your driver updates. I did some research and can see this cpu is more than capable of performing the tasks you mentioned. I believe this to be a software issue needing a fresh install as to eliminate many causes. It could also be a memory issue if you do not have enough ram installed it can cause your overall system performance to degrade and can cause extra strain on your cpu.
