HP All-in-One PC 24-df1000i (1W761AV)

Fan noise rises and falls continuously 3 HP reps tried to correct via changing power requirements. No improvement.

I ran corrupt file check in command prompt sfc scannow with no success. Help!!!!!!!!!!

Is your PC in warranty?

 

Sounds like a bad fan (hardware) if this is continuously happening while using Windows under various system loads.

 

Download and run HWiNFO portable to check component temps. High component temps causing this fan behavior should also be a warranty issue.

 

HWiNFO displays all kinds of useful system information.
