Hey Guys,
I have an Omen 45 L gaming desktop. I have upgraded my ram to Kingston FURY 32GB (2x16GB) Beast 3600MT/s DDR4. I recently installed a Kingston Fury Renegade 2TB PCIe Gen 4.0 NVMe M.2 Internal Gaming SSD with Heat Sink that was working great initially (for a little over a week.) I reinstalled all of the games I play on the SSD and recently the SSD has been crashing and disconnecting during gameplay and during downloads at times on steam. I tried taking the SSD out and reseating it, i've tried giving CLSID permission in component services from error logs, I tried turning my fans all the way up, all my drivers are updated. Does anyone have any other recommendations for me to try? The SSD is compatible and fits perfectly in the slot and it has heat sink which is required. Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you

Greetings @Jordannnn
Welcome to the HP Forum.
It sounds like you may have a faulty SSD.
Check SSD stats and error conditions using Crystal Disk Info.
See if you can stress test the SSD using Crystal Disk Mark.
Both Apps are available Here.
Is it possible to test the SSD in a different PC or try a different M.2 socket on the 45L MB if available.?
Maybe your MB has an M.2 socket problem.
