You're very welcome.

The Samsung 970 Evo is pretty old technology and may tend to run a bit hot, but it is a very good PCIe Gen 3.0 drive if you can get one cheaply.

If you want a Gen 3 drive see if you can get the Samsung 980 but they may be hard to find too.

The SN7100 would be the best performing Gen 4.0 drive followed by the Crucial P310.

The 500 GB models may have slower maximum advertised read/write speeds than the 1 TB models.

At this stage of the game, I would opt for a Gen 4 drive even if it won't run at its maximum speeds from the Gen 3.0 slot.

Hi:

I can't find any specs on your PC's drive.

What model SSD does it come with now?

Your PC has a M.2 slot that supports M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs.

The PCIe generation of the slot is 3.0.

A Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD will work fine, but it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from the Gen 3.0 slot.

I recommend a Crucial P310 NVMe SSD in a storage capacity that meets your needs and budget.

Thanks for the help!

found out that my SSD is the Samsung MZVLB256HAJD-000H1

i have done some self research and found 3 different SSDs, and wanted to know your opinion, ( rank them 1 to 3, if they all work for my pc)

Samsung 970 EVO Plus MZ-V7S500BW | Internal NVMe M.2 SSD, 500
