Your PC does not have a CD/DVD drive.
That's just a plastic filler that covers the empty space where the optional DVD drive would have gone.
Hardly any PC's come with DVD drives nowadays.
Here's an eBay listing for your PC which shows in the specs that it does not come with an optical drive.
HP M01-F3003w i5-13400 2.5GHz Intel UHD Graphics 730 12GB RAM 512GB SSD Win 11 | eBay
You can buy a USB DVD burner.
That's what I use on my notebook and desktop PC's that have no DVD drive, and I have to install a program on a CD or DVD.

Thanks Paul
As soon as I posted that I discovered that about the CD slot and I went to try and add a device again.
It finally started a different process and loaded my printer and I think good to go
(I'm OLD-school and electronics, let's say, isn't my forte - in a looong shot)
Thanks again Paul
