I had to go buy some screws on Amazon that'll fit my chipset. How do I get hp to reimburse me for the screws?

This is a peer-to-peer forum.

You can take the matter up with HP but personally, I wouldn't waste my time.

From a legal standpoint, they are not obliged to supply a screw for the SSD hold down, since your PC did not come from HP with a NVMe SSD.

Hey one more thing sorry, do you know how to get this SSD to show up in bios? I got into bios and tried to change boot order, but my chip isn't there. It only shows up in device config. When I try to change that it doesn't save. Do you know why it won't show up on boot order?

I kinda figured out the bit options. when I tried to boot from the new one, it says inaccessible boot device. I went back and checked the new drive when I booted from my old drive,  windows is completely cloned over to the new one. But it won't boot from the new chip.

You're very welcome.

Hopefully the screws you ordered will fit, and you will be all set.
