Hp omen 880 190 nz
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, this is my first post on this forum !

I would like to add a second SS2 m2 drive for working with big file on my HP omen 880 190nz desktop.

i think the only solution on this motherboard ( Tampa2 ) is to use a pci-e Adaptater. Motherboard info : https://support.hp.com/lt-en/document/c05950995

If i buy this drive : https://www.digitec.ch/fr/s1/product/samsung-970-evo-500go-m2-2280-ssd-8351214

and this adaptater : https://www.digitec.ch/fr/s1/product/icy-box-la-carte-pci-ib-pci209-prend-en-charge-2x-m2-ssd-vers-s...

it will work, and work to its full speed ?

do i have to configure in the bios? if so how to proceed?

Thanks in advance for your support !

Fabio

I see you need help in upgrading the SSD, on OMEN by HP Desktop PC - 880-190nz. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you.

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you can install M.2 SSD.

Motherboard description: Tampa2

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
