I just bought an HP Desktop M01-F2254 and find that there seems to be no CD/DVD drive (Optical disk drive).  Can anyone suggest an external drive that will serve my purpose.  I have always created a rescue disk for my Macrium Reflect,  So the drive has to be writable and compatible with my model.

Does all the things you want it to do.

 

To play DVD's you will need software.

 

I use the free VLC media player app available from the Microsoft Store.
