Hi,

I installed a new GPU - Geforce GTX 1660, but the monitor doesn't get any signal. When I switch back to the old GPU everything works fine. I've tried the following:

1. Used different ports and monitors

2. Cleared CMOS

3. Checked my BIOS - it's the latest version (AMI 8.14, 12/17/2012)

My PC specs:

Processor: Intel Core i7 - 3770k CPU 3.5GHz, 4 cores, 8 Logic Processors

RAM 12GB

OLD GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7500 Series

MAX Power 300w

Please help. I don't know what else I can do. Is it possible that I don't have enough power for the new GPU?

Thank you

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

It may not be possible to run a 1660 on a 300 watt power supply. The 1660 requires a minimum 450 watt PSU and one eight pin connection from the power supply.

A 8.14 BIOS means you have the correct UEFI motherboard BIOS.

But you also have to enter the BIOS to disable Secure boot and enable Legacy support (Link). Look at "the PC does not start after installing new hardware".

Regards
