970 Programmable Wireless Keyboard
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There is no print screen button on my keyboard. There is a screenshot button, but it uses Windows snipping tool, which doesn't satisfy me. I want to be able to make screenshots just like with the print screen button - I want them to be for the entire screen and immediately saved, as I don't have time to go through the whole saving process during a game. I can't find a way to make that happen even with the HP Accessory Center, because it also gives me only the snipping tool option to apply to keys. I've also tried to capture the PrtScn key from the Windows screen keyboard and assign it to a key, but it's not working... How do I do this? Are there any apps that can assign PrtScn behavior to a shortcut or something like that?

I have found the solution. It's a little complicated and took me a lot of time to find, but it's there. For anyone struggling with the same issue: install free software named Greenshot. It allows you to set up hotkeys for making screenshots with Greenshot, and to save them immediately. Then change your screenshot key (or any programmable key) function to the same hotkey combo you set up for screenshots with Greenshot, and voila! You have the desired outcome - quick screenshots, saved immediately in the directory of your choosing, without ever needing the PrtScn button. You're welcome.
