HP EliteDesk 800 G8 Tower PC (27P57AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

This model supports Intel's built-in graphics, so if I turn on the PC without an external graphics card, the HP logo will be displayed and I can enter the BIOS setup menu by pressing F10.

I recently purchased an AMD Radeon RX 7600 graphics card and installed it on my EliteDesk 800 G8 Tower PC.

However, after installing the AMD video card, the screen does not appear and I cannot use the BIOS settings.

Windows login screen appears after a few seconds, I can use Windows normally, but I need to connect a monitor to the integrated graphics port to use the BIOS settings.

- HP BIOS has been updated to the latest version on my PC.
- There is no problem if I install the Nvidia 1650 graphics card.

- No option to turn off Intel integrated video output.

It seems that the current BIOS does not support the AMD RX 7600 graphics card. Are there any plans to update the BIOS to support this AMD graphics card? Can I expect it will be supported near future?

Which BIOS do you have installed?

The latest BIOS is 02.13.01 Rev.A from Aug 4, 2023

Thank you for your answer, Erico.

I used the BIOS 02.13.01 Rev.A you mentioned already but there is no change. 😞

Sometimes there is indeed a compatibility issue that video cards have with chipsets and BIOS.

I would return it and get an NVIDIA card.
