Hi Team,

I purchased Hp Mouse (M10) and trying to register and add the product to my HP profile in devices. I'm getting message as - serial number is invalid' despite of inserting the right one. Can you please help?

My experience for the past many years includes the following checkpoints.

 

Not every device / accessory is listed in the database HP Support uses to filter in-Warranty Repair Request submissions.

 

This limitation might be by design but does not impact your device Warranty coverage.

Keep track of your purchase receipt and any paperwork.

In-Warranty product case submission

Select your region and follow the prompts

 

What if?

 

If your new Mouse / Accessory fails within the Warranty period -

If you cannot submit an in-Warranty repair case,

Post a new question here in the Community and ask for help.

Do not provide any private information in your request -- we are a public website.

We can forward your request to our staff of dedicated Moderators and Agents.

HP Account - Dashboard

 

The HP Account Dashboard generally accepts printers and computers of a certain age (in Warranty) to be added to the My Devices list. 

 

--  Reminder --

If the device list does not accept an HP accessory, it is NOT an indication that the accessory is lacking warranty coverage, only that the device cannot be added to the My Devices list.

 

Keep track of your purchase receipt and any paperwork.

HP Account - Login / Dashboard

Scroll to the bottom of the web page to change the region.

Once signed in - Open Drop-Down menu "My HP Account"

Select Support Dashboard
