My web camera and microphone(audio endpoint) not working after upgrade OS in browsers. I checked whether my camera is turned on in the settings, yes there it is turned on,  then I checked HP Diagnostics there works fine, then I checked the microphone in the sound settings, there are no actions, I did the diagnostics, it won’t find anything, I tried updating the drivers in the device manager, there are no updates, I tried to remove and reinstall it too did not help, what can I do?

I understand that the camera and microphone are not working after OS update.

 

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

 

As you have stated that you have done all possible troubleshooting steps. The issue is not resolved.

 

I would suggest you perform the System Restore and System Recovery. 

 

Link: Perform System Restore & Performing System Recovery. Note that any data that is not backed up prior to a recovery will be lost.

 

System Restore is a software program available in all versions of Windows 10 and Windows 8. System Restore automatically creates restore points, a memory of the system files and settings on the computer at a particular point in time. You can also create a restore point yourself. Then, when you use System Restore to restore your computer to a point in time before an issue began, System Restore returns your computer to the files and settings from the restore point. Your personal files and documents are not affected.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
