Num lock key missing from wireless keyboard (HP AiO)

Please help me understand why there is no num lock key on the wireless keyboard we got with our HP AiO computer. I've been using the keyboard for up/down/left/right, delete, insert, page down, page up for my entire life. Was there a deliberate loss of functionality here? What's the rationale for changing this.

If I may ask, how do you expect any volunteer, non HP employee in the forum to explain a corporation's rationale for their product changes?

You can always replace the keyboard and dongle with a set (keyboard+dongle) that suits you.

You can access the numlock enable/disable function in the BIOS for most HP PCs and laptop products.
