My Computer and Key bord is Just over one year old.  The keyboard is one of the newer HP keyboards without a numlock.  When I press the number key the first it operated a move function net next time i press the key it give me the number.   It does this for all the number keys?

@Dogman -- I expect that the "NUM LOCK" key is somewhere on the keyboard.

Does the "8" key on the keypad have two labels, namely an "8" in white, and an "up-arrow" in blue? If so, then you have to hold-down the blue-coloured "FN" key on your keyboard while tapping the "8" key,  to achieve the "up-arrow" function.

Can you use your smart-phone to take a picture of the right-side half of your keyboard, and post the image here, so that we can see what keys you do have?

Or, post the model-number of the keyboard (usually found on the label on the bottom of the keyboard).

@Dogman -- what function does that key immediately to the right of the CLEAR key have?

Is it an image of a hand-held calculator (one-line display, and a grid of numbers) ?

Press that key, and then the "8" key. Do you get a "8", or does the on-screen cursor move?

What about the key immediately below that "calculator" key? What does it do, after you tap it?
