Number of SATA slots in Desktop Pavilion TP01-4xxx

Dear Community,

I plan to buy Pavilion TP01-4700nz (I7-13700). I did not find any information about:

* number of free (all) SATA slots on motherboard (this PC has already DVD drive, probably SATA connected)

* number of (free) power slots for extra SATA devices

* number of free bays for 3.5'' and 2.5'' disks to mount extra HDD/SSD extra devices inside the case. 

Current documentation does not provide information about internal part of the PC.

You are probably referring to this PC: HP PC Pavilion TP01-4700nz (brack.ch).

Unfortunately, HP has not (yet) released any tech specs for the HP Pavilion TP01-4700nz (7Y6D1EA).

You would have to contact your Seller/business that sells this PC to see if they can provide the information you need.

I have received the following answer:

Good day - According to the manufacturer's datasheet, the PC has no SATA expansion slots.

Based on linked document (in German), conclusion is correct, but personally I do not believe 🙂

Hi,

I confirm, that accessible documents do not provide any credible information (SATA ports number, SATA powering and mounting SATA devices). 

I even contacted HP Poland service and (suggested) HP Reseller and got answer that HP assumes that Desktop Pavilion line is sold as-is and is not expected to be extended by end-user with Hard Drives. The only way is to wait for unofficial YouTube (or so) customers information.

My comment: HP loses one potential client not providing satisfactory information for given product. Attaching a few photos/screenshots of Motherboard, open box, attached devices/cards/memories , BIOS could support more advance users to buy the product.

for an improvement of a computer not equipped with the hdd disk, it will certainly be necessary to obtain connectors sata data power Hp
but I don't see why this type of response, when hp sells SSD+ hdd configurations in this series..

I couldn't find the RenoR model
but it must be similar to the Reno model
