Hello
I have an OEM RX 460. I have read on the forums that the RX 460 works with PCs with UEFI support and in the manual of the HP elite 8200 it states that it has support for UEFI specification 2.1. My question is would the RX 460 work in the elite 8200.

It may work, as long as your system isn't an SFF (Small Form Factor) system. If it isn't then you are good to go. If it is, you may want to look at another low profile card like a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Low Profile.

I would do the test, and confirm UEFI boot environment, via this program. Please report back.
As the HP 8200 units were early 2011, prior to UEFI, do you have knowledge on the BIOS issue?

Hi:
The 8200 Elite has a UEFI BIOS (I have two of them), both of them are running graphics cards that normally wouldn't work in a PC that old.
Both of my PC's are on BIOS v2.28 and one has the nVidia GT 730 and the other has the newer GT 1030.
Since you are running W10 on there, do not update the BIOS beyond v2.28 unless you have W10 installed in EFI Mode.
Otherwise, it will take well over 2 minutes for the PC to restart from a warm boot unless you hide the TPM device in the BIOS' security menu.
According to the info I found online the AMD RX 460 was released to market in August of 2016, and the GT 1030 was released to market in May of 2017.
So hopefully the RX 460 will work in the 8200 Elite CMT provided it doesn't need any supplemental power connectors.
