I’ve bought two x8 gigabyte ram sticks matching the set that came with the computer. So, in total 32 gigabytes with 4 inserted ram sticks. The system is black screen and everything lights up on the motherboard with the 4 rams sticks and I tried with just the two new ones but still no screen, it only boots with the stocked ram that came with the computer.
It’s same spec ram. Just have this black screen issue, I’m trying to bypass this... Any suggestions what to do to solve this?

Greetings @SlickEvader
I suggest setting memory overclocking to disabled in the BIOS if your MB supports DOCP. Then install only the new RAM. Try all RAM if the PC will POST using only the new RAM.
And Intel XMP memory modules may not play nice with AMD MBs.
It looks like your MB does not like the new sticks of RAM if the new RAM is not defective. Some retail memory modules, when installed in some HP MBs, will only run at standard JEDEC speeds and timings.
@NonSequitur777 would be able to provide viable memory upgrade options.
I suggest, if you want the best result and don't mind retiring the HP RAM, using only two 16 GB sticks of compatible RAM. Doing this is better for the CPU's integrated memory controller.

Hi @Bill_To,
Thank you, I gave this my due attention.
Well, now: you got an OMEN by HP 40L Gaming Desktop PC GT21-1000a (6M9M4AV) fitted with the Frostbreath motherboard (SSID: 8A98) -and upgradeable to a Ryzen 9 7900 [3.70 GHz up to 5.40 GHz, 12-Cores, 24-Threads]: sweet! -But my bad, I digress.
Looking online for HP System OMEN by HP 40L Gaming Desktop GT21-1xxx User references here, it appears that HP-branded 2x16GB Kingston RAM (Kingston HP52U40S8HM-16FRAE/-16FRA) performs the best and running consistently at 5200 MHz. Nice.
You can get a matching 2x16GB HP RAM kit via a trusted eBay Seller for under $80: https://www.ebay.com/itm/296660484057?_skw=Kingston+HP52U40S8HM&epid=19061006359&itmmeta=01J8QX0Z0GG....
Personally, this would be my number one pick.
However, you could also choose something off the HP Reservation that may work equally well, such as: 2x16GB Kingston FURY Beast 2X16GB KF552C40BB-16, which can be purchased for about the same amount via this trusted eBay Seller: https://www.ebay.com/itm/305755817327?_skw=2x16GB+KF552C40-16&itmmeta=01J8QX8BFKRMPXQY0KAZCNETST&has....
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,

You mean the original 2x8GB plus the new 2x16GB RAM?
I would advise against that: in general, use matching RAM (same brand, model, capacity) for best RAM performance.
Just use the 2x16GB RAM, plenty even for heavy gaming.
Kind Regards,

i upgraded the memory on this same desktop(2x 32gb Kingston Fury beast 5200 41600 228pin). i also got the black screen. few things i had to do where, dont use the DP to connect a monitor at first start up use hdmi. install the memory boot up the PC wait 2mins (roughly), hold the power button to shut it down than just boot the pc back up and wait a 2-3mins and it should boot up. it what worked for me. i thought it was a memory issue but it was not. After the PC loads up with the HDMI then you can connect the DP and unplug the hdmi
