Does anyone know if the system board will support 128 gig of RAM?
Is there a limit to RAM speed so long as I use DDR4 memory

I don't know if this is the model found, but you can see that it is not specified ..
But since the computer is recent it would be more sata 3
It is also possible that there are both, I did, but the computer was older!
You can check it anyway with some software
You normally have intel storage technology if it is an intel chip
Just open and it gives the speed of the installed disk if you have an HDD
this gives an idea of the port used

Hello
it would be necessary to check if it is indeed of this series that it is question!
https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/omen-x-by-hp-desktop-pc-900-200i/17155887/product-info
there may only be one model of motherboard installed, but it would be nice to have the exact model of the computer!
If it is this motherboard:
motherboard specifications, Hamburg
- Dual channel (2 DIMMs per channel) memory architecture
- Four DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets
- Supports PC4-21300 (DRR4-2667)
- Supports 8 GB and 16 GB DDR4 UDIMMs
- Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
note:
32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory. - Supports up to 64 GB (unbuffered) on 64-bit computers
note:
Maximum memory shown reflects the capability of the hardware and can be limited further in the operating system.
only 64 gb certified
That said, unless you use more than extreme 128 gb may be unnecessary.
