OMEN X by HP Desktop PC - 900-025vr

I would like to add 1-2 TB of ssd memory to my HP desktop OMEN X by HP Desktop PC - 900-025vr, and would like to know what type of memory card I should purchase which would integrated into this system.

@nbyrockman1 , welcome to the forum.

 

Here are the SSD's (standard and M.2) that are recommended by Crucial Memory.  If a product is recommended by Crucial it is guaranteed to work.  If you decide not to buy from Crucial, you can use their specifications for buying another brand.

your motherboard has a One M.2 socket 3, key M...so that means you can use any type of NVME drives....

I would suggest you go for a Samsung EVO plus 970...I got one and I am impressed by the speeds 3500 read/2500 write.

You may get a bigger capacity drive...if budget is not a problem...I would personally recommend Samsung for speed..That doesnt mean any other choice is not good!

Other than that...just look for specs at any SSD's that are M.2 NVME Pcie-x4 drives! and will all work with no problem.

Dont use any SATA M.2. SSD's as those wont work...Good luck!
