Wow. Did I just realize or notice this?

 Other then with a dedicated GPU, the motherboard (or entire PC for that matter) has NO HDMI input for your monitor if you want to use the onboard video?

How does one use the onboard video (without a dedicated GPU) to connect their monitor (hdmi connection)?

The specs of your machine is

It has NVIDIA GTX 1660Ti (6GB) and HP clearly says:  Integrated video is not available if a graphics card is installed.

 

Other machines with dedicated GPU are the same. No point to use iGPU on desktops, for notebooks to save batteries you can use iGPU (but not all machines support this).

sorry, but it seems that is not the question
Indeed this model of motherboard, is not equipped with video output, although the processor supports Intel® UHD 630 graphics

Edoras back I/O ports

  • USB Type-A 3.1 Gen 2: 1
  • USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2: 1
  • USB Type-A 3.1 Gen 1: 4
  • RJ-45 (Ethernet)
  • Audio: Line in (microphone)
  • Audio-out jack
  • Audio-in jack

It's actually curious and frustrating, if the graphics card is down for example!
there is obviously no choice, with this motherboard, you must have a graphics card
I don't know if a usb adapter is possible!
