Hi, just wanted to add, your motherboard should support 12th-gen processors based on the motherboard specifications document.

However, for future reference, if you seek to upgrade to a 14th-gen Intel processor later on, then you will need to  update the motherboard firmware in order to avoid processor degradation on 14th-gen chips. You can find driver updates using the HP support assistant on your desktop, and the driver download page should look like this: driver update page for OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Desktop PC GT15-1000i
