OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Desktop PC GT15-1000i (6J775AV)

25L Omen about 3 years old now won't start up. Starts up fine one day, hours later it wont start up.

I've done it all,  Unplug everything, hold down power button, then plug in power only and still nothing. Finally got it to start up, did the BIOS update and it helped for maybe a week then back to not starting up BS. No, I'm not removing the graphics card to try and find the CMOS battery or whatever that nonsense is. HP can't even say exactly where that battery even is., I'm not digging around removing things to find it. All firmware and software checks come back fine. Things are all plugged in fine in the case. Keep pushing the power button and eventually it starts up randomly after pushing the button minutes ago. What is the deal?

Really sick of it frankly. It's 2026, HP's thing has been making computers for decades at this point. Why is this non start up for a new PC a thing in 2026? This machine wasn't cheap. I only use it for gaming and when it decides not to start for hours then randomly turns on after the 100th time pushing the power button it's rather infuriating.  I'm a MAC user for everything else and this is why. Clearly HP PCs are not quality as I was lead to believe.

Greetings @Val1dscr33nnam3

You are, as we all are, experiencing entropy.

I can only guess, based upon described symptoms, the PC has an intermittent: power button problem, power supply problem, other component problem, or a MB problem.

A local PC Tech should be able to isolate and replace the faulty component.

Regards
