Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

Looking to upgrade my CPU from a Ryzen 5600g to 5900x. The motherboard is Hanna B550 and it shows that it is supported. My original configuration had only 4 CPU power pins plugged in but it could accept all 8. The TDP of the 5600g is 65w and the 5900x is 105w. I replaced the original power supply (500w) with an 850w so power is not an issue. So, I guess my question is would it harm anything if I plugged it in or not? I really appreciate any feedback you have!
