Product: OMEN by HP 45L Gaming Desktop PC GT22-1000i (6C1R8AV)
Hi everyone, I have an OMEN by HP 45L Gaming Desktop GT22-1023nj Bundle PC with a 4090 and I am having constant issues related to GPU, such as:
- monitors blinking from time to time, as if HDR is being enabled and disabled
- video games crashing with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED error
- system freezes completely, sometimes without load, but usually while gaming - everything hangs I have to unplug the PC to reboot. Windows event viewer records errors with nvlddmkm.sys, "Error occurred on GPUID: 100", "Reset TDR occurred on GPUID ", etc.
Things I tried:
- formatting C: and playing with nothing but empty Windows 11 + Steam
- DDUing drivers and reinstalling
- Disabling nvidia overlay
- Setting power limit to 30-80%
- Underclocking by maximum it would let me do in MSI Afterburner
- Disabling all RGB software
- Setting power management mode to power in Nvidia control panel
- Disabling HDR
- rechecking all hardware connectors
- adding permissions to driver files
What more can I do?
solved by replacing the GPU
