Hello i need help upgrading my processor. i had bought an i9 and it didnt fit. i then bought a GC but not i have to upgrade my proc for windows 11 to work. heres my spec, 
processor: Intel(r) Core(tm) i5-7400 CPU @3.00GHz 3.00GHz
ram: 32.0 GB

system type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Welcome to our HP community forum!

 

My recommendation would be to upgrade your processor to an i7-7700K, which you can buy online for less than $100, such as via eBay: I7-7700k for sale | eBay.

 

Your PC is not compatible with any processors (8th gen and up) which Microsoft deemed "approved" for Windows 11, but that shouldn't stop you from installing W11 anyway.
