HP Pavilion Desktop - TP01-1140

I reviewed the specs of my Erica 3 motherboard and it said I could have up to 32GB of RAM (2x 16GB DIMM modules).

I purchased 2 x 16GB DIMM modules PC4-25600 (DDR4-3200) and installed them. However, only one slot shows active when the BIOS flashes up. Windows 10 also reflects this "half" memory situation with 16GB of available RAM.

To troubleshoot this, I powered down my machine and swapped the RAM modules. However, it still only showed one active/available RAM slot in the BIOS and 16GB of RAM for Windows. I did this several times with the same results. Only one slot is active/available.

My second act to troubleshoot this was to upgrade to the newest BIOS version available via the HP website. However, that has not fixed anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I discovered another post where they shared Priform Speccy results. Apparently, it detects BOTH modules just fine, despite my BIOS claiming there's only one. Windows says the installed RAM is: 16.0 GB (15.3 GB usable)
