Hello, the little clips on the front face plate/cover of the dvd drive on my pc (HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0040na) has broken so it no longer stays on. Is it possible to order a replacement cover? Can anyone provide a part number or details of where I may be able to get one? I found some listings for the same part but for other HP desktops and laptops but unfortunately they wouldn't have matched.
Thanks!

I looked up 690-004na and found a product ID 7EC01EA that I assume is your system
https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=7EC02EA
There are 3 bezels listed. One is a dummy for system without a DVD.
Look for a part number on your bezel such as L15xxx (whatever)
I am guessing it will be a lot cheaper to buy some glue than replace the bezel. It is really disgusting to have the door close, trapping the DVD and popping the bezel off and scratching the DVD as has happened on several Dell systems I have owned.

Thanks for that, and yes I can see the different parts and have identified which I require. It wouldn't be so bad if I lived in the US but being based in the UK it will be silly money to replace. I think it will be a superglue job.
