The power supply cord to the monitor overheats and causes blackouts in the monitor. I have brought the monitor and the CPU to a repair store and everything is working properly. I discovered the power supply cord to the monitor was heating up and it is then that the Blackouts began to occur. I could use the monitor for approximately 30 minutes with no problem. Then the screen would go black and return within a minute. It continues as long as I am using the desktop.

@SondraPC , welcome to the Community.
The information that I found on your monitor states that it was released in 2012. Therefore, it is out of warranty. Your best option is to replace the power cord. I suggest that you go to a local reputable computer shop for help. It would be best if you take the monitor with you. They will check the monitor to ensure that nothing else is faulty.
