I recently just got my HP Omen 30L Desktop. At idle, the GPU runs at 33C while my CPU runs at 47C. These temperatures seem fine. However, when I start up a heavy task such as a game, the CPU sometimes spikes to around 90C and the fans start spinning very rapidly. Normally, it runs at 75C-80C which is still very warm.
Some help would be very appreciated. Thank you.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is overheating.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
What is the product number of your computer?
I would like to inform you 90 degrees is normal and should be fine. However, I recommend you update the BIOS, graphics, and the chipset driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
