HP Recommended

Hello, I’m trying to find what the warranty is on my 1TB drive. It has failed and I cannot access it. I’ve tried different cables and both windows and Mac machines. They indicate it can’t be read. The HP website states the serial is not valid, but I am entering it correctly. All my backup data is on this drive, and even recovery software cannot find the drive. Please advise
