Product: P7-1003
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have an older P7-1003 that I upgrade the PSU to a nice 500W and I just upgraded the GPU to a GTX1060 6gb.  I have 16gb of ram and I"m also hoping to upgrade to a 500g SSD soon.

 

This is the motherboard info:

N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX (Alvorix)

 

This is the PC Specs:

It says the Phenom II 1100T is the fasest processor it will support on the support page, but it has the AM3+ socket.  Will a processor faster than the 1100T work?

That was my worry.  I guess I can start shopping for a new motherboard, processor and ram.  Based on the built prices, I think I'll come out ahead if I swap it out on my own as money allows.
