Hey there !

I want to upgrade my PC - HP Pavilion Convertible x360 Laptop 13-u004TU.

I want to make it faster by -

1. Upgrading its ram to 8 GB or more if possible.

2. Upgrading its storage from HDD to PCIe 4.0 SSD.

I just want to ask that does my PC support all these upgrades or suggest me some upgrades that I could do to make it slightly better and faster.

Thanks

Hi:

16 GB is the max memory if your notebook has removable memory.

Notebooks that came with 2.5" drives have no M.2 slot and if it did, it would only support a M.2 SATA SSD.

Your only option for a SSD would be to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.

Below is the link to the service manual.

HP Pavilion x360 m3 (model numbers m3-u100 through m3-u199, m13-u100 through m13-u199, m3-u000 throu...

You'll have to remove the bottom cover to see if your notebook has removable memory or not.
