HP P6-2054uk
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have installed the new graphics card into the PC and windows does not load. I have tried pressing ESC to view start up menu but only get the following screen.computer.jpg

I have seen several people have had similar issues and have tried various obvious things but am now stuck.

@undefinedweevel,

Your unit, as shown here, originally was WIN 7 and has BIOS, issued 02/2012.  It can never be upgraded to the newer UEFI v BIOS, which came into systems 09/2012.  The GT710 has UEFI.   So, it is a critical mismatch.

Your would have to:

1) Upgrade to a 600W PSU

2) Find a GTX 660     (compare the GTX 660 to GT 710)

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
