Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to fill the empty slot to max out at 16 gb SDRAM with 2400 mHz speed. Do I need 260-pin SODIMM? 1 rank or 2 rank double-sided?  Non-ECC unbuffered?

PS> I really wish HP would simply list these specs somewhere!

The specs of your machine is

           https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06611091

It has   8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) now and supports 16GB (2 x 8GB) max. You can simply add same existing RAM to slot 2 or using the following compatible RAM

           https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4sfs824a/ct18482108

You can use a tool called CPU-Z to see what is existing RAM

Regards.
