Hi @Housingapollow,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
To resolve the issue of your OMEN 30L Desktop lights not turning on after reinstalling the OMEN Gaming Hub, follow these steps:
Check OMEN Gaming Hub Settings:
- Open the OMEN Gaming Hub.
- Go to the Lighting section.
- Ensure that the lighting effects are enabled and configured correctly.
Update OMEN Gaming Hub:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the OMEN Gaming Hub installed.
- Check for updates within the OMEN Gaming Hub or download the latest version from the HP Support website.
Update BIOS and Drivers:
- Visit the HP Support website and search for your desktop model (OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0024).
- Download and install the latest BIOS and firmware updates, as well as any relevant drivers.
Reinstall OMEN Gaming Hub:
- Uninstall the OMEN Gaming Hub from your computer.
- Restart your computer.
- Reinstall the OMEN Gaming Hub from the HP Support website.
Check Windows Services:
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Look for any services related to the OMEN Gaming Hub and ensure they are running.
- Restart the services if they are already running.
Reset OMEN Lighting Controller:
- Some OMEN desktops have a separate lighting controller that might need to be reset.
- Check the user manual for your specific model to see if there is a reset option for the lighting controller.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to contact HP phone Support for further assistance, as there could be deeper hardware.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
