Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

Listed below is the USB card I bought. The box says no driver needed for Windows 10.
I installed the device. Device Manager put an X into the description area. I uninstalled via Device Manager.

Reboot and I got the X. I did a find driver and DM said all is good.

From the CD that came from the box I found the driver for this card - installed the driver - and the X went away.

However the card fails to read, to acknowledge, any usb device I insert, be it hard drive, be  it usb stick.

Is it that the motherboard isn't working with this card?

Don't know what to do.

Thanks !

Here is the card:

Vantec 3-Port USB 3.0 Type A/C PCIe Host Card UGT-PC331AC

Inateck RedComets U25 USB 3.2 Gen 2 PCIe Card with 2 USB-C & 3 USB-A Ports

make sure you have the slots enabled.   Try another slot.

It is possible it will only work in an X16 slot that happened to me with a Lenovo
