There was a previous response but I don't want to give up. I would like to add a video card to my TP01-0034 but unfortunately this requires upgrade to the power supply. There's got to be a way to upgrade the power supply! Will any SFF type power supply physically fit? Can adapters be used? Can it be custom built? Thanks!

Greetings,
Welcome to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
@wb2001 would have more info on this upgrade.
How many watts do you need?
I think you may be limited to a 400 watt PSU upgrade due to chassis constraints and proprietary MB power supply connections.
The 400 watt power supply part number is L04618-800. You can get this part at HP Part Surfer (Link).

Thanks for linking this to me. You know I will be through as I can be !😀
Your unit shares the same motherboard (Rother) with several models, like the HP TG01-0500nd which happens to have a 500W PSU. The TE01-0020 (Rother) had a 180W, but another OP installed the 400W to use a GTX 1650 Super.
Here are some notes/guidance for you. Please inspect these carefully, and report back accuracy.
1) I am linking my newest spreadsheet on the PSU cross reference. IT is dated 02-21-2020. Click on it, then use built-in snipping tool in WIN10 to copy it. I will add your unit to the list today, but you get the general idea. OK ?
2) Units have the PSU laying in the bottom of the chassis, held in place by a locking tab at the front, and 2-3 torx screws at the rear. The upgrade manual
3) The power cable (4 pins) on the motherboard services the DVD drive and any other SATA drives, if added. The other end of the cable is attached to your DVD drive. How many spare SATA power plugs are there? I ask because the motherboard does show 3 SATA data headers. (I ask this because local store will not allow me to peak into their units).😧

Thank you so much Grzwacz! A 400W PSU is plenty enough power, epecially with M.2 drive. I am only adding a GTX1050, I just needed more than the existing 180W. I really appreciate your help pointing me in the right direction (as did 'wb2001' - I will thank him as well).
Great community of users!
Thank you - Peter (Hellas111)

Thank you so much Wb2001 (along with Grzwacz), I am deeply grateful. I will look-over the spreadsheet and review how many spare SATA power plugs are available. There is also a small 2 or 3-pin (not sure) CPU fan connector but I'm hopeful that won't be a problem with the L04618-800.
I will purchase the PSU and once everything is verified I guess I will click 'Accept As Solution'?
Or should I do that now?
Again, I greatly appreciate the efforts!
Thanks - first timer,
-Peter (Hellas111)

I will await your verification of the complete cabling from the PSU and SATA power cable on the motherboard.
Really wish I had some pictures of all the connectors. The furnished pictures lack resolution/clarity.
