I have an HP elitedesk G3 800 tower motherboard and a Thermaltake Smart Series 600w psu with 20+4 & 6+4 cpu and motherboard power connectors but they are not making contact and psu is not coming on (brand new out of box). What sort of adapters would I need; possibly male to female; to get power to the motherboard?

I have not found an adapter but did find this thread about using a proper 500w power supply

The motherboard for HP EliteDesk 800 G3 Tower PC the uses a proprietary power connector.
