Hello, I'm looking to upgrade my GPU in my HP Victus 15L TG02 Desktop to a Nvidia RTX 3060 ti. The GTX 1660 super currently in it chugs a little to much with newer games for for my liking. I'm not looking for ultra high settings but I'd like to go to something that will run comfortably on mid to high settings (at least for a few more years). The Nvidia product information recommends a 600W PSU to run that graphics card and through some research I have found that there are only certain HP Manufactured PSU's that will fit the Victus. I have found 400W and 500W options but everything I have found online says you are risking power supply issues by going smaller. Can anyone Recommend a 600W+ PSU for me? Or perhaps tell me if I'm shooting too high on the GPU with this unit and it's Intel i5 CPU and cooling system? I'm new to PC upgrading and I'm on a budget so if I pull the trigger on something I want to make sure it's right!

Based on identical power supply compatibilities between your PC and my HP Pavilion TP01-3003w, I am pretty confident that this 650-watt unit, with HP part number: L57253-003 / L36049-003, will also work in your PC.
You can purchase one of these fine HP-proprietary power supplies online, such as via this eBay Seller: https://www.ebay.com/itm/405600078797?_skw=L57253-003&itmmeta=01JT4S3GQBZVTAYNT0RF5GG12E&hash=item5e..., who allows for returns in case this power supply doesn't work out -but as far as I can ascertain, it will work for you: check the 7-pin "P2" power connector's format for compatibility.
Kind Regards,
