So I have a hp 8767

I have been recommended to get the 500w L05757-800 power supply, upgrading from my 310w psu

Now my motherboard requires a 7 pin, 4 pin and another 4 pin

So theoretically if I had to buy any psu that had these connectors it would work?

@Yeskinggaming1,

The 500-watt power supply upgrade with p/n: L05757-800 or p/n: 901759-013 are compatible with your Baker motherboard.  Then there is a compatible 650-watt power supply with p/n: L36049-003 / L57253-003 / L36048-003, and a 700-watt power supply with p/n: L80662-002 / M09027-003.

What is there to say? All these particular power supplies have this identical "P2" power connector in common -most have 7 wires, some have colored wires, others have black wires.  Point is, your Baker motherboard requires a proprietary power supply, and there is no ATX power supply adapter to my knowledge.

Kind Regards,

@Yeskinggaming1,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Your PC/motherboard requires a proprietary power supply, which means that only select HP power supplies would be compatible, specifically the 7-pin "P2" power cable needs to be a "fit".

@Yeskinggaming1,

You're welcome -you can purchase any of these power supplies via eBay (if you have access to that) and then there is AliExpress, for example.
