Hello i am thinking of upgrading my PSU and was wondering if i could replace my hp PSU with just anyone?

Your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-0000a (2E9U0EA) is fitted with an Erica motherboard (SSID: 8643) -see: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06418627, and according to: HP PartSurfer, is fitted with a 400-watt power supply with p/n: L04618-800 "Power Supply - GNRC PSU 400W SFF Entl FR", please verify.


You can upgrade your power supply with a 500-watt unit with p/n: L05757-800. You should be able to buy one of these power supplies online, but after checking for you in the United Kingdom or Germany (eBay), couldn't find any Sellers. Here are eBay-France eBay purchase options: L05757-800 on sale - | eBay.  Also, AliExpress sells them.

 

By the way, your desktop cannot be hooked up to an industry standard 24-pin ATX power supply, such as the Evga Supernova 650 G3 Power Supply.
