HP Recommended

I was recently gifted a HP OmniDesk M02-0224 and was looking to upgrade from a 280w PSU to a 400-500w PSU if possible, and what would be the best HP approved higher wattage PSU that I could upgrade to. I'm looking to run the game Soulframe smoother.

Compatible 400-watt power supply with p/n: L04618-800 / 942332-001


Compatible 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800 / 901759-013 / L77487-003 / L89233-001 / L81009-800

 

With a 400-watt PSU: The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 -specifically a compact, smaller-sized dual-fan model, is highly recommended for this wattage. It handles Soulframe at high settings comfortably.

 

With a 500-watt PSU: You can opt for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 (12GB) or RTX 4060 Ti -specifically a compact, smaller-sized dual-fan model. These cards provide more VRAM, which helps with texture pop-in during large open-world transitions in Soulframe.

 

Please note that I am not sure if the HP OmniDesk M02-0xxx system is compatible with the newest RTX 50xx series cards.
