@Ralph_Bohm,

If you haven't done so already, please download the Macrium Reflect 8 Free freeware cloning software as discussed.

And as discussed, before you remove the Intel Optane card / before you clone your SATA HDD to the new M.2 NVMe SSD, please follow the Optane uninstall procedures. To avoid permanent data loss, do not disable Intel Optane in system BIOS without first disabling it in the Intel RST application!

1.) Disable the Intel Optane memory with Intel RSTHow to Disable System Acceleration with Intel® Optane™....

2.) Disable Intel Optane memory in the BIOS Setup Utility:

  1. Open the BIOS by restarting your PC and repeatedly tapping the F10 key to enter Setup.
  2. Select Advanced, select System Options, and click Configure Storage Controller for Intel Optane to remove the check.
  3. Restart your desktop.

3.) Clone your HDD to your new M.2 NVMe SSD: How to clone a Windows 10 hard drive to a new SSD using Macrium Reflect - Pureinfotech.
