Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is it possible to disconnect/remove the stand, so that I can safely pack thecomputer for shipping to UK?

I don't want to try to remove it, if it's not meant to be removed. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of the operating manual.

Thanks in advance.

@Suanpaulh1 , welcome to the Community.

What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant.  Once I have this information I will help you further.

Hi. Sorry about the delay in response.

The product number, as far as my old eyes can tell is: Z5N69AA#ABA

Thanks.

Thanks, Geekster.

Unfortunately, it's a slightly different model and it looks like I'll need a small TORK wrench to detach. I hadn't seen those before.

You are welcome, @Suanpaulh1!

I knew that the video may not be for your exact model, but thought that it would give you an idea of what needed to be done to remove the base.
