HP Pavilion Desktop - 570-p030
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP PC570-poxx with an Intel I7-7000 processor.  The processor will not support Windows 11.  On this desktop, is it possible to upgrade the processor to something comparable that will run Windows 11.  The desktop is running fine.  If I can what's the best one to use?

Hi:

The processor upgrade specs indicate you are at the max, so unfortunately you can't upgrade to an Intel 8th gen core processor.

If you are interested, you can easily bypass the W11 hardware checks and upgrade to W11.

I did on a Dell Optiplex 7050 MT with an i7-7700 processor, and W11 works just fine.
