Hi all

I have a hp 290 G3 mt business pc and I want to upgrade the 180w power supply to 300w or more. Could anyone tell me a compatible power supply that would fit in the pc. Many thanks

Your HP 290 G3 MT is compatible with this 310-watt power supply with p/n: L08262-004 / 901772-003 / 901772-004 / 937516-004.


Compatible power supplies have these dimensions: 95mm x 73mm x 165mm.

 

Looking at this power supply's 7-pin "P2" power connector, there is reason to believe that the 400-watt power supply with p/n: L04618-800 / 942332-001 and a 500-watt power supply with p/n: 901759-013 should be compatible: DISCLAIMER: I cannot be certain given lack of HP compatibility information.

 

My suggestion: see if you can purchase one of these power supply upgrades from Amazon or an eBay Seller who allows for returns, so that if these power supplies doesn't work, return it, and get your money back.
