HP ENVY Desktop PC TE02-0000i (3Y3Q8AV)

I have a HP Envy desktop PC te02-0042 and I want to install a SECOND SSD.  There is a second SSD slot on the motherboard under the RTX 3070 video card.  I can remove the video card but HP put some sort of a plastic cover over the SSD 2 slot and even if I remove the screw I still can't remove this piece of plastic to install my SSD.  I tried sliding, pulling, lifting but either there is a second hidden screw or it is snapped in place and there is a trick to remove it.  Can ANYONE tell me how to remove this PLEASE?  I spent the whole day calling HP and they do not know S _ _ T and can't help me.

I must say that I think you have a really good point.

I looked at the HP YouTube HP Support video for your TE02-0000i PC series and it shows that it should be simple. One thing I notice is that the video shows no cover over the slot. See  time slot 13:24 on the video

This image shows what it looks like under the  plastic cover. Hopefully that should give you more confidence in removing it.

Personally, I would use a plastic spudging tool to try to remove the cover after removing the screw starting from the end opposite the locking portion of the PCIe x16 slot. It should be removeable.
