I'm sorry I should have specified what the adapter was for. I was talking about a 24 to 6 pin adapter for a psu. The fan is also really annoying. When I first got the system I ran furmark and it got up to 90c and I heard nothing from the fan. I thought that the fan was doa and was going to get it repaired. Then I heard it kick in and I was like, **bleep** you were supposed to do that at 70c! But yeah I can't believe HP would let their systems run that hot. I wish there was a way to get it to kick in sooner but when I adjusted the fan curve in cam nothing happened. And also I don't get why system builders see the need to only install one fan and make it AN EXHAUST. Sorry about the rant, I also had to adjust the voltage up and slightly lower clock speed on the ram after multiple crashes.
